What’s a visual system? Well, in the identity world it’s a graphical element that replicates some or all of the logo. Think of it as a visual extension of your logo and brand. It may be a pattern or part of the shape, color or texture of the logo as shown in some of the examples below.

Near the end of the design phase, a visual guideline will be created that will show the do’s and don’ts in using the logo, name and visual system across all applications. Signage and wayfinding, stationary, banners, website, motion media, merchandise, trade shows, literature, and ads are just some of the few touchpoints in which the One World Trade Center logo will need to be properly addressed.
